Job Details
Unit Profile : The purpose of a unit profile is to provide an exceptional screenshot of the unit.
Hospital : TriStar Centennial Medical Center
Location : Nashville, TN
Unit Name : Cath Lab
Number of Beds : 11 procedure rooms (5 cath, 4 EP, 2 hybrid OR)
Patient Ratios : 1 patient to 3 staff
Type of equipment : GE and Philips xray systems, Volcano IVUS / FFR, Merge Hemo
Documentation system : Merge Hemo and Meditech
Procedures performed on unit : Cath Lab- diagnostic, PCI, Rotoblator, Laser atherectomies, ECMO, TAVR, MitrClips, Watchman, IVUS, FFR, complex PCI, CTO, Shockwave, Pernumbra; EP Lab- EP studies, pacemakers, ICD, ablations (no cryo ablations), micra pacemakers, loop recorders, lead extractions to include laser lead extractions.
Job Requirements
Techs- RCIS, RCES, or RT(R)
ACLS
RNs- RN license, ACLS, BLS
Must have : Techs - Scrub and monitor cath lab and / or EP procedures; RNs- monitor and circulate cath lab and / or EP Procedures
Advanced skills needed : BLS and ACLS; Cath Lab and / or EP Lab experience
Schedule Information
Scheduling requirements : 4 x 10 hr shifts- 6 : 30 a to 5 p
Floating policy : Only float to prep and recovery
