Certification Details BLS ACLS Job Details Hospital : CENTENNIAL Medical Center Location : 10 tower Unit Name : 10 tower / NSD Building : Main Building Cost Center : 676 / 678 Number of Beds : 30 (22 Acute Care, 8 Stepdown) Patient Ratios : 6 : 1 on Acute Care, 4 : 1 on Neuro stepdown Unit staffing description : 1 RN Charge over all of 10 tower, 1-2 Techs and a unit secretary Type of equipment : Acute Care side includes vital sign machine, high flow oxygen, chest tubes, suction, and various drips. Neuro stepdown includes Vapotherm, Bipap, Trachs, titrating cardiac drips. Documentation system : Meditech Scheduling requirements : Weekends shifts are required Floating policy : Experienced nurses can float after orientation Patient Experience requirements : Bedside shift report, personal connection, and daily huddle Job Requirements Must have strong nursing skills and time management in Acute Care Neuro stepdown experience preferred Strong critical thinking skills Procedures performed on unit include lumbar puncture and chest tube placement Schedule Information Weekends shifts are required Unit Specific Information Unit Guidelines / Policies : Please attach unit specific policies and guidelines Additional Details We are a wonderful starting unit for those wanting to go to ICU
