Certification Details BLS ACLS Job Details Hospital : CENTENNIAL Medical Center Location : 10 tower Unit Name : 10 tower / NSD Building : Main Building Cost Center : 676 / 678 General Information Job Requirements Must have : Acute Care strong nursing skills and time management. Neuro stepdown, I would like stepdown experience. Strong critical thinking skills. Procedures performed on unit : The most common are lumbar puncture and chest tube placement. Schedule Information Scheduling requirements : This depends on schedule, Weekends shifts are required. Floating policy : Experienced nurses can float after orientation. Unit Specific Information Number of Beds : 30 - 22 Acute Care, 8 Stepdown Patient Ratios : 6 : 1 on Acute Care, 4 : 1 on Neuro stepdown Unit staffing description : 1 RN Charge is over all of 10 tower, 1-2 Techs and a unit secretary. Type of equipment : Acute Care side : Vital sign machine, high flow oxygen, chest tubes, suction, and various drips. All things stroke. Neuro stepdown : Vapotherm, Bipap, Trachs, titrating cardiac drips. Documentation system : Meditech Patient Experience requirements : Bedside shift report, personal connection, and daily huddle. Dress Code : (Required uniform) 10 Tower - you can wear black, any shade blue or grey, and any color scrubs on Friday.
