Job Details
CENTENNIAL Medical Center located in the Main Building.
Job Requirements
Must have strong nursing skills and time management.
Neuro stepdown experience is preferred.
Strong critical thinking skills.
Experience with lumbar puncture and chest tube placement preferred.
Schedule Information
Weekend shifts are required.
Floating policy : Experienced nurses can float after orientation.
Unit Specific Information
Number of Beds : 30 (22 Acute Care, 8 Stepdown)
Patient Ratios : 6 : 1 on Acute Care, 4 : 1 on Neuro stepdown
Unit staffing includes 1 RN Charge for 10 tower, 1-2 Techs, and a unit secretary.
Type of equipment : Vital sign machine, high flow oxygen, chest tubes, suction, various drips for Acute Care. Vapotherm, Bipap, Trachs, titrating cardiac drips for Neuro stepdown.
Documentation system : Meditech
Additional Details
Dress Code : Wear black, any shade of blue or grey, and any color scrubs on Friday.
