Located in beautiful Louisville, CO, our 104-bed facility provides a peaceful setting for those seeking treatment for mental illness including chemical dependency. Centennial Peaks offers unique and individualized programming for adolescents and adults that sets us apart from many other treatment facilities. Our dynamic leadership team includes a seasoned nursing department. Our hospital is fortunate to provide Electroconvulsive Therapy, Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization Programs in addition to inpatient services.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
The Intake Admission/Resource Nurse provides telephonic and in-person risk assessment and crisis intervention, initial contact with referral sources and potential patients, coordinates the referral and intake process, determines appropriate level of care, facilitates the admission process and maintains communication with referral sources, families, patients and unit staff. This position also cross trains with the milieu, assisting on the units as needed. In this capacity, they prescribe, coordinate and delegate nursing care utilizing the nursing process that is integrated into the multidisciplinary treatment team plan of care. They are accountable for assigned nursing care activities on a shift basis and is responsible for promoting and enhancing professional nursing practice on the unit.
The hours for this position are Monday, Tuesday, and Friday 9am-9pm.

- The ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment is critical.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program, BSN preferred.
- One-year prior psychiatric experience in mental health nursing, preferred.
- Licensure and registration by the Colorado Division of Regulatory Agencies as a registered nurse.
- Must possess knowledge of general and psychiatric nursing processes, therapeutic relationships and processes, age specific growth and development, limit setting, crisis and behavior management.
- Current CPR or BLS certification or ability to learn, this training is provided during training period.
Salary : $37 - $45
