Position Overview: We are seeking an Experienced Internet/BDC Director to lead our Business Development Center (BDC). We are a new Volkswagen dealership in the Centennial area. As the Internet/BDC Director, you will play a crucial role in maximizing the dealership's online presence, driving lead generation, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences throughout the digital sales process. Your expertise in lead generation, CRM, digital marketing, and team leadership will be essential in achieving sales goals and fostering growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Drive the generation of high-quality leads through various digital channels, including the dealership website, social media, online advertising, and third-party platforms.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate the Internet/BDC team, providing guidance, training, and exceptional customer service.
- Lead Providers: Continuously refine and improve the Dealership's many lead providers to ensure optimal ROI
- Performance Analysis: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as lead conversion rates, appointments, follow-up effectiveness, and customer feedback. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and adjustments to strategies.
- Technology Utilization: Stay up-to-date with digital tools, customer relationship management (CRM) database, and communication platforms to optimize lead tracking, engagement, and follow-up.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales managers, marketing, internet sales teams and service departments to ensure seamless integration of online and offline customer experiences.
- Reporting: Tracking your (the stores) appointments, preparing regular reports on BDC performance, provide insights and recommendations to dealership management.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors, including digital marketing agencies and technology providers, to ensure the dealership's digital presence remains competitive.
- Training and Development: Provide ongoing training to sales and BDC team members on digital sales techniques, communication skills, and customer engagement best practices.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record as a BDC Manager/Director,
- Knowledge of success in digital marketing, lead generation, and online sales within the automotive industry.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales software to manage leads and customer interactions.
- Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse group of individuals.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze metrics and make strategic decisions based on insights.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience in an automotive BDC or dealership setting is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of automotive products, services, and the automotive market is an advantage.
