Description
The Regional Housing Director is a leadership role that oversees, advises, and supervises directors who implement supportive housing programming and property management. Staff in this role work on a team of Regional Directors who administer separate portfolios. This position ensures that the owners’ expectations and appropriate application of the Housing First and Harm Reduction philosophy are implemented according to service standards and is responsible for leading all aspects of supportive housing to ensure success for tenants. The position is responsible for carrying out terms of contracts and requirements pertaining to their unique portfolio. The position provides support to the directors remotely and onsite. Staff in this role draw in support from other team members and Regional Directors as needed for mentoring, coaching, and decision making. This position requires regular out-of-town overnight travel to assigned sites to support the directors, observe site level activities, and survey the building and grounds. This position is responsible for motivating and providing clear direction to staff regarding application of the CCHC mission, and modeling and ensuring the agency’s culture of treating all people with dignity and respect is established and maintained within their portfolio. This position is also part of an interdisciplinary team that participates in agency decision making and advisement as appropriate
Requirements
Preferred Experience:
This position requires supervisory and team building experience as well as a unique combination of social service and property management skills and experience. A degree or equivalent experience in human services, business administration, program management, mental health or chemical dependency managerial roles, subsidized property management, or related fields is required. This position requires a valid driver’s license and agency approval. This person must pass and maintain DHS Minnesota Background Study clearance.
Salary : $80,000 - $95,000
