Responsibilities
- Supervise the accounts payable / receivable team to ensure accuracy.
- Monitor accounts for discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
- Prepare and analyze accounts payable / receivable reports for management review.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies related to financial transactions.
- Training of employees; planning and directing their work
- Appraising employees’ productivity and efficiency.
- Handling their complaints and grievances and disciplining them when necessary.
- Manage customer relationships to foster positive communication regarding payments.
- Implement strategies to improve collection rates and reduce outstanding debts.
- Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, with a focus on accounts payable / receivable management. 3 years experience required.
- Strong understanding of debits, credits, and general accounting principles.
- Familiarity with accounting practices is essential.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate reporting.
- Strong leadership abilities to manage a team effectively.
- Education: High School Graduation required. Additional education preferred (accounting)
