We are seeking an experienced, ambitious, motivated, sales-oriented individual with exceptional customer service skills to join our team as a Optician. Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 3 years eyewear sales experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
· Eyewear sales
· Ensure accurate patient information is obtained
· Ensure that correct products are created per specifications per order
· Ability to make recommendations based on prescription, and latest fashion trends and patients’ needs
· Ability to manage and lead a team of sales associates
· Compliance with Designer Eye’s policies and procedures
· Compliance with HIPAA guidelines
· Performs eyewear maintenance as needed
· Performing other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
· Applicants must have experience in an optical or eye care practice.
· Knowledge of current ophthalmic products and optical measurements required.
· At least three years of experience in industry.
