Summary
The Center is seeking a highly capable and friendly clinical assistants who want to create a positive experience for clients a part our residential substance use treatment programs. This program requires 24/7 coverage and reliability is very important to provide services to those in the residential program. The goal of our program is to help our clients be successful outside of treatment. Along with treatment, we assist them with finding housing, employment, & create healthy habits for them outside of treatment.
To ensure success, Clinical Assistants should exhibit a proactive approach toward client centered care. Outstanding candidates have prior experience working with people in a treatment or residential setting and are able to follow detailed instructions.
Primary Clinical Assistant Responsibilities:
- Creating a positive experience by welcoming and assisting patients throughout their stay.
- Preparing patient files by obtaining personal and health information.
- Promoting patient safety by maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
- Mediating between patients and providers.
- Guiding patients through the programs various procedures.
Requirements:
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to record, monitor, and report a patient's condition to professional personnel.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to assist and reassure patients.
- Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks as directed by on site supervisors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
