What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Front Desk Receptionist position at Center for Arthritis & Rheumatic Diseases?
A busy, well established rheumatology practice is looking for an enthusiastic, patient service focused full time medical receptionist for our office in the Harbourview Suffolk area.
-Candidate should be aware that your “home” location would be in one office, but there may be occasional need to cross cover at our other office location.
-Business or work hours Monday through Friday
Responsibilities would include but would not be limited to:
Warm, welcoming and exuberant with a desire to provide exceptional customer service
Answering phones
Scheduling patient appointments
Maintaining patient accounts, entering and updating personal and financial information
Collection of payments
Maintaining organized workspace and patient waiting area
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Candidate will need to be experienced with electronic medical records
Dependability is essential
Excellent customer service skills
Attention to detail
Multi-tasking
Comfort in a fast paced environment
Ability to work independently and assist as a team player
High school diploma or equivalent
1 years of experience as a medical receptionist is preferred
Completion of a certificate program in the medical field is a plus
