A busy, well established rheumatology practice is looking for a full time staff member. This would be an entry level position working in our offices located in the Greenbrier area of Chesapeake and the Harbour View area of North Suffolk.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Scanner to join our medical office team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately scanning and digitizing medical records, ensuring that all documents are organized and accessible within our systems. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity of patient information and supporting the overall efficiency of our medical office.
Responsibilities
- Scan and digitize medical records with precision, ensuring high-quality images.
- Organize and categorize scanned documents for easy retrieval and reference.
- Cross Coverage for our Medical Receptionist position as needed
Experience
- Familiarity with medical terminology and EMR systems are highly desirable.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication skills.
