The Center for Autism Nurturing (CAN)is recruiting for a full-time Assistant Clinical Director in Alpharetta, GA. This position will work out of CAN’s clinic, with some travel required to deliver services or supervise service delivery.
The Assistant Clinical Director provides day-to-day oversight of clinical operations, assisting the Site Manager, BCBAs, BCaBAs, and RBTs with clinical needs, and ensuring high-quality services to clients. In this role, you will collaborate with Director of Clinical Services and leadership to establish parameters of caseload capacity and assist with peer review of individualized ABA treatment plans You will also provide mentorship, support, and direct, hands-on training to new BCBAs and provide training and ongoing supervision to RBTs (including those accruing Supervised Independent Fieldwork experience)and BCaBAs.
The Assistant Clinical Director will also work as a BCBA, with cases that require elevated complexity or support needs. In this capacity, you will conduct descriptive and systematic assessments of behavior and skills to identify the service needs of clients with a primary diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) using tools and methods standard to the field of Applied Behavior Analysis, interpret assessment results to design, implement, and oversee individualized ABA treatment plans, monitor and evaluate client progress, provide goal-directed training on behavior change protocols, and provide ongoing guidance and support to parents, guardians, and other designated caregivers.
Must Haves
- At least 4 years BCBA experience and prior experience leading people (ideally in multi-disciplinary teams)
- Advanced knowledge of ABA and related evidence-based practices
- Experience with implementation and interpretation of standardized assessment measures (i.e., Vineland-3, Social Responsiveness Scales-2, PDDBI, etc.)
- Experience with implementation and interpretation of criterion-referenced assessment tools (i.e., VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS, EFL, PEAK, etc.)
- Experience with both traditional (i.e., analog FA) and contemporary (i.e., Practical Functional Analysis / IISCA, latency-based FA, etc.) functional analysis procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Collaborative approach with immediate team and cross-functionally with colleagues
- Master’s degree in applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Social Work or related discipline
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing. State-specific licensure, if applicable, at a Behavior Analyst level, in good standing.
- Current CPR certification
- Current Safety-Care® specialist certification
- Valid driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing more than 10 pounds on a regular basis more than 50 pounds occasionally.
