Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our growing community mentoring organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer literacy and be proficient in various administrative tasks, ensuring smooth daily operations. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Duties
- Provide administrative support including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and organizing meetings.
- Handle phone systems and direct calls appropriately while maintaining professionalism.
- Utilize for basic accounting tasks and financial record-keeping.
- Prepare documents using DocuSign for electronic signatures and manage file organization.
- Assist with proofreading documents to ensure accuracy and clarity.
- Serve as a personal assistant to executives as needed, handling confidential information with discretion.
- Maintain an organized filing system both physically and digitally to enhance efficiency.
Experience
- Proven experience in an administrative and/or customer service role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite, is a plus.
- Experience with phone systems and calendar management is highly desirable.
- Excellent proofreading skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to type efficiently and accurately while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new software tools as required.
