Job Summary:

The Data Specialist with the Child First program at the Center for Child Counseling is an on-site administrative position to support the program and Sr. Clinical Director in all aspects of program administration and operations, including data entry and management, data tracking, completing all benchmark and outcome reports, and ensuring compliance with program policies, procedures and benchmarks keeping fidelity to the Child First model and contractual expectations of funder. The Data Specialist will work closely with entire Child First team and Sr. Clinical Director to ensure that data is accurate in all the computer systems associated with the Child First program and submitted in a timely manner. This position plays a crucial role in supporting our mission to promote playful, healthful, and hopeful living for children, families, and communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Timely and accurate entry of data into various systems as required by agency, funder and the National Program Office of Child First.
  • Monitor, assist, and support the submittal of required documentation by front line staff in a timely manner in all computer platforms for the Child First program.
  • Create, organize, update, and review all paper charts with a focus on accurate record keeping.
  • Gather, analyze, track, interpret, and report program outcome data to the Clinical Director and team.
  • Review processes and data to make recommendations for improvement.
  • Support peer review process of charts with Child First teams.
  • Maintain and submit Cash Log emailing to Finance on a monthly basis.
  • Collaborate and work cooperatively with community partners and referral sources.
  • Serve as one of the contacts for the management of the office space including but not limited to deliveries, inspections, and maintenance as coordinated by the COO and Office Manager.
  • Maintain and monitor program supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; assisting in placing and expediting orders for program supplies; verifying receival and receipt of program supplies.
  • Other tasks as assigned to support the mission and operations of the Center for Child Counseling.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum Educational Requirement: B.A. with at least 2 years of experience in data entry or administrative support OR High School Diploma with a minimum of 5 years of support/experience.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Advanced computer skills (Excel, Power Point, Word, etc.) and comfort with spreadsheets and entering accurate data.
  • Proficient in MS Teams and SharePoint.
