The Center for Coastal Studies (CCS) seeks a passionate and detail-oriented Development Manager to play a pivotal role in advancing our mission of marine research, rescue, and education. This position is integral to the success of CCS's fundraising efforts, including the endowment campaign, annual giving, and special initiatives such as our 50th Anniversary Celebration.
Endowment Campaign :
Under the Director of Development, provide administrative and logistical coordination of all aspects of the endowment campaign, including collaboration with consultants and internal stakeholders.
- Plan and execute campaign events and meetings.
- Develop and produce campaign materials that align with CCS branding and messaging.
- Partner with the CCS Development Specialist to effectively manage and utilize donor data, ensure accurate reporting, and track campaign progress.
- Track progress and maintain detailed records related to campaign activities and donor engagement.
- Initiate and coordinate cultivation and stewardship activities for endowment giving.
Annual Giving : Assume responsibility for specific aspects of CCS' annual giving efforts, including but not limited to :
Planned Giving Campaign :
Oversee the planned giving campaign in collaboration with consultants.
CCS Sponsors Program :
Build relationships with the business community to secure sponsorships that support CCS’ mission and programs.
Support CCS Annual Giving and 50th Anniversary Celebration Efforts :
Provide organizational and logistical support for CCS’s annual fundraising events.
Administrative Support :
Provide administrative and logistical support for some Board of Directors activities.
Qualifications : Required :
Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience in nonprofit management, business administration, communications, or a related field.
Preferred :
Event planning and coordination experience is highly desirable.
Compensation Range $65,000 - $75,000 with a generous time off and benefits package.
A flexible / hybrid work schedule is negotiable. Some weekends, evenings, and travel may be required for events and outreach activities.
