Position Summary:
The afterhours investigator is responsible for taking afterhours (4pm-8:00am M-F, weekends and Holidays) investigation reports from the call center, completing and/or reviewing a report of needs in SAMS and answering Guardianship calls. Also, to provide support to the primary investigator.
This is a stipend position
$400 for the week
$325 for any call outs
Essential Functions
- Review and respond to reports of need depending on priority level.
- Prioritize needs and identify appropriate available resources for consumers in need.
- Respond to all calls and visits during scheduled stand by time. Stand by time is Mon-Fri 4:00pm to *a, the following morning; 24 hours a day for weekends and holidays. Holidays include the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Years Day, Columbus Day, Good Friday, MLK Day, Flag Day, Veterans Day, Presidents Day.
- Provide appropriate referrals and information on resources to all consumers in need.
- Thorough documentation, including completing the record of the call or contact by documenting demographic information, outcomes (referrals/no referrals), client notes, follow-up notes, etc. in the SAMs database system.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field.
- Excellent phone skills, detail orientated and dependable. Ability to mobile into the community, be aware of surrounding and complete investigations during off hours. Ability to answer and respond to afterhours calls.
- Valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, Act 33/34 and FBI clearances will be required. Individuals who have accessed human services are encouraged to apply. EOE/ADA
