Center for Community Resources is looking for a compassionate mental health professional to join our Huntingdon/Mifflin/Juniata team as a Crisis Intervention Specialist. Crisis intervention services include telephone and mobile assessments, emergency services coordination, crisis counseling, conflict resolution, and referrals to mental health and drug and alcohol resources.

The starting salary for this position is $21.54/hr. We also offer a higher salary based on experience. We are currently hiring for one full-time position. We are hiring for daylight shift, either 8A-6P (4- 10 Hour Shifts) or 8A-4P (5- 8 Hour Shifts). All full-time staff also rotate weekend and overnight shifts on call. There is an on-call rotation of at least one week a month. The on-call hourly rate is $23.00/hr. and there is an additional stipend of $300.00 per week when on-call. There is an office in Lewistown for staff to work out of. We are specifically looking for an individual located in Mifflin or Juniata Counties for this opening.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field. With major course work in sociology, social work, psychology, gerontology, history, criminal justice, nursing, counseling, education, theology, political science or related field AND one year of experience in the mental health field required.
- Associates degree in psychology/sociology or related field plus 2 years direct mental health experience.
Valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, Act 33/34 and FBI clearances will be required. Individuals who have accessed human services are encouraged to apply. EOE/ADA
