General Summary
Contracts Administrator - serves as administrator for North America Client and Vendor Contracts.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Client contracts: drafting, evaluation, negotiation, and execution [including: Master Services Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), Purchase Orders (POs), Quotes for Service Awards, Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Letters of Agreement (LOAs), Addendums, Amendments, etc.] for Custom, Coaching, Assessment Services & Open Enrollment. Reviews client proposed terms and conditions and ensures CCL’s interests are represented and protected. Works with enterprise counterparts and key stakeholders to develop and track CCL client contracts, ensuring appropriate documents are used; consistency is maintained in templates and processes; current business forms are in order and available
- Primary point of contact for client contracting and/or procurement office; liaison between CCL and client, ensuring timely review and approval/reconciliation of variations
- On all standard and non-standard contracts, works with client contact to complete a client-generated agreement or accept changes/additions (‘redlines’) to the CCL agreement, elevating any concerns to appropriate management member and/or CCL Corporate Legal; includes coordinating review(s) and exchanges with CCL Corporate Legal and client
- Change orders - when project scope has evolved (e.g., contract renegotiations, program fees waived, etc.), is responsible for creating contract amendments, recording changes and informing stakeholders; educates and informs stakeholders about fiscal impact or implications to policy and/or process; and,
- Works with CCL Corporate Legal on large scale, legal documents; remains the primary contact person between CCL and Client unless otherwise determined.
- Maintains contractual records and documentation to provide contract visibility and awareness, interpretation to support implementation. Includes revenue allocation and any special requirements/terms of agreement, using current CCL processes and systems for knowledge management.
- Works with counterparts across the market to maintain current CCL contract templates, ensuring consistencies; captures learning and implements best practices.
- Develop and implement procedures for contract management and administration in compliance with CCL policy. As appropriate, contribute to or influence CCL contracts policies
- Monitor compliance with established procedures and identify areas of recurrent pressure. Work with key stakeholders and finance in risk management to coordinate contractual insurance requirements; ensure adherence to broader finance and risk requirements such as revenue recognition, identify funds received (e.g., deposits, payments) pricing and discounting policies, etc. Includes understanding and evaluating fiscal impact of terms and term options.
- Handle on-going issue and change management
- Monitor transaction compliance (milestones, deliverables, invoicing etc.)
- Ensure contract close-out, extension or renewal
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required. 5 years project management, contract management and business experience preferred; education or professional service sector experience a plus.

- Contracting Financial Management: Understands and applies financial management concepts and practices related to contracting.
- Risk Management: demonstrates understanding of presenting problems with ability to think through implications and impact of proposed solutions; identifies and anticipates potential risks, communicating and engaging with stakeholders for mitigation tactics.
- Technical acumen: Demonstrated proficiency with general business applications (e.g. Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Visio, etc.); ability to quickly learn and leverage new technology
- Communication: Excellent verbal & written skills; communicates agenda, captures notes re: decisions, unresolved and action items. Proactively shares information including learnings and best practices with key stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal skills: Abilities to establish productive, respectful, and collaborative working relationships with internal and external clients at all levels; understand and work effectively across geographic boundaries; and, collaborate with teams, staff, and clients at all levels.

Pay and Benefits
- The hiring range for this role is $50,000 to $55,000 annual. Offer will be commensurate with relevant qualifications and professional experience.
- Position is incentive plan eligible.
- This is a US-based position, offering a flexible hybrid work schedule, requiring candidates to reside within commuting distance of one of our three US campuses: Greensboro, North Carolina; San Diego, California; or Colorado Springs, Colorado. Hybrid work involves a mix of onsite and remote work, with at least 2 out of 5 workdays spent onsite.
