Job Description:
As a Clinical Application Administrator, you will provide technical and functional support to our clinical systems. This includes three separate hosted or cloud Practice Management Systems and various third-party interfaces such as Labs, Vaccination information, EKG, electronic prescribing of medications, Patient Portal, Document Management, and faxing from the medical chart. You will work closely with our clinical staff to support day-to-day issues and gather specifications for changes necessary. Your expertise will be crucial in coaching and mentoring less experienced colleagues when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and setup, maintenance, and enhancement of CFDS Clinical Applications and interfaces.
2. Provide support for the EMR for the pediatric nursing home; Point Click Care, and any other clinical application and associated hardware.
3. Develop content and forms for the EMR application, manage user security, assist with testing and implementing software upgrades and patches, and create user and technical documentation for the applications.
4. Learn and assist the Front office and Billing department with all billing-related situations.
5. Act as the liaison between application users and the IT department or software vendors to gain intricate knowledge of the applications.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require at least 5 years of related experience in IT Applications, preferably in Clinical Applications such as Electronic Health Records. A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field is also required. Excellent knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as O365, is essential. Additionally, you will need knowledge of and experience with Practice Management software, including Windows Based Operating Systems, MS SQL, SQL Server, Oracle SQL,.NET, html, java script, Crystal Reports, and MS Power-BI.
