Key Responsibilities
- Team Oversight: Assign daily tasks, manage schedules, train staff, and ensure work quality and compliance.
- Project Management: Coordinate maintenance projects, manage budgets, and collaborate with contractors.
- Facility Maintenance: Implement preventative maintenance, perform hands-on tasks (plumbing, electrical, carpentry), and respond to maintenance calls.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure team adherence to safety protocols and confidentiality policies.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; maintenance certifications preferred.
- Experience: 5 years in facility management or commercial property maintenance supervision.
- Skills: Proficiency with OSHA/ADA regulations, power tools, and Microsoft Office; valid NYS Driver’s License.
Work Environment
- Physical Requirements: Frequent bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs alone, up to 150 lbs with assistance), and work in varied conditions, including outdoors and on-call rotation.
- Exposure: Occasional exposure to loud noises, dust, fumes, and electrical risks; safety protocols strictly observed.
