What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Operations Manager position at Center For Disability Services?
For 80 years, we have been one of upstate New York’s largest providers of programs and services for individuals who have disabilities. Many of the innovative programs and vital services that we offer are not available elsewhere. We are looking to fill a Full Time Residential Operations Manager position:
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for day-to-day oversight and management of our Residential Supplemental Staffing Program, which operates within a complex 24/7 environment, across multiple locations.
- The Residential Operations Manager will work collaboratively with program supervisors on staffing needs for both long and short term coverage and provide updates on the effectiveness and ROI of the staffing/scheduling function by analyzing trends, forecasting future need, and strategizing to meet future needs.
- Prepares reports on all Staffing activities as well as work with management to analyze the effectiveness of the schedules and established staffing P& P’s.
- Supports the division by organizing, teaching and scheduling other instructors for the Evening Orientation.
- Responsible for the leadership of projects such as the Kronos and Litmos.
Compensation for this position is $24.00-$26.00 per hour. Commensurate with experience.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma

Specialized training, license, certification, skills:
- Advanced computer software knowledge and skills with Excel, Outlook and Word.
- Knowledge of time keeping system such as Kronos, ERP systems, Learning Management Systems and/or scheduling software (preferred)
- At least 3 years of job related experience, specifically in: a supervisory role, managing projects & people in a high-volume environment, knowledge and experience in database management, customer services, staff coordination, scheduling, training and other related experience.
