Under the supervision of the Vice President of Financial Aid, performs duties associated with state and federal Financial Aid and other support services. Advises staff on policies and procedures related to Financial Aid.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Account Reconciliation Management, including monthly bank reconciliation.
- Financial Aid Data and Reports Management. Generate analytical reports to ensure compliance with Federal and State regulations pertaining Financial Aid programs.
- Coordinate and establish strategies with the Financial Aid Officers for the timely and accurate delivery of Federal Funding (FA Processing and Payment Submission)
- Prepare, perform and review R2T4 calculations ( in transition to Fiscal Dept. )
- Manage and serve as back up person for Default Prevention Coordinator in developing risk prevention programs as part of Default Management.
- Gainful Employment Reporting ( in transition to MIS ).
- In coordination with RGM, complete the annual Fiscal Operations Report and Application to Participate in the Federal programs (FISAP) by September 30th of each year.
- Complete the Financial Aid portion of IPEDS.
- Monitor data exchange and troubleshooting program issues between CIMS and RGM.
- Train assigned staff including organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.
- Assure that Financial Aid Officers are compliant with Federal, State and campus policies and regulations.
- Maintain knowledge of existing and changes to Title IV compliance requirements through daily review of relevant news / data sources, webinars and attending conferences and providing updates to staff.
- Plan, develop, coordinate, and direct student financial assistance programs and initiatives.
- Perform special projects as assigned.
- Knowledgeable and able to coordinate and process under HCM1 status.
- Maintain office supplies inventory
