Summary: Staff Education & Program Implementation Coordinator
The SEPI Coordinator leads staff education and program implementation to support strategic and clinical initiatives. This role collaborates across departments to enhance business processes, develop training programs, and ensure seamless execution of new initiatives.
Key responsibilities include facilitating cross-functional coordination, integrating policies and technologies, and driving process improvements. Working closely with clinical teams, data analysts, and executives, the SEPI Coordinator assesses operational needs, identifies opportunities for innovation, and implements solutions to enhance staff competencies and organizational effectiveness.

The Center for Family Health & Education, Inc. (CFHE) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), located in the northeast San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles. CFHE provides affordable and comprehensive medical care for underserved, uninsured, and underinsured residents of the greater Panorama City area. CFHE has been providing primary health care, mental health care, dental care, and women’s and children health care, as well as transportation services for patients since 2009.

Responsibilities:
Staff Education Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage staff education programs to support the Quality Management department.
- Create and deliver training materials covering all aspects of FQHC operations.
- Assist in preparing for and managing regulatory agency inspections.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate staff education programs based on regulatory requirements, facility needs, and industry best practices.
- Ensure compliance with clinic policies, procedures, and professional nursing standards.
- Oversee and conduct new employee orientation, covering philosophy, objectives, safety, infection control, and policies.
- Coordinate and facilitate in-service education programs in collaboration with department heads.
- Identify and address staff training needs in coordination with Clinic Operations.
- Develop an annual training plan and monthly education schedules to support professional development.
- Organize and manage external training opportunities and partnerships with outside education providers.
- Lead staff training sessions and serve as the primary presenter for required education programs.
- Develop and execute program implementation plans and timelines.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution.
- Monitor progress, adjust as needed, and ensure timely completion.
- Communicate updates to stakeholders and leadership.
- Train and support end-users.
- Ensure compliance with County, State, and Federal regulations.
- Maintain project documentation, records, and training attendance.
- Track industry trends and report to Quality Assurance management.
- Support inspection readiness across clinical programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Master’s degree and clinical background preferred
- 2 – 3 years management or combined experience as senior level educator or trainer.
- Experience in a medical group, FQHC, hospital, or other provider healthcare environment preferred
- 1 year of full-time experience as a licensed nurse in providing direct nursing care in a long term care facility, in addition to one year experience in planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs in the field of nursing preferred
- Strong strategic, operational, and financial acumen.
- Effective communicator with the ability to engage teams and simplify complex information.
- Collaborative leader with strong project management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, independent, and adaptable with a focus on innovation.
- Expertise in quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and industry best practices.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% as needed.
