POSITION SUMMARY:
Center For Family Services is seeking experienced and professional Administrative Assistant for the Crisis Receiving Stabilization Center. This is a 24-hour psychiatric crisis center for adults experiencing a mental health crisis. The Crisis Receiving Stabilization Center provides a nurturing and supportive environment where our clients can receive therapeutic interventions for up to 24 hours.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to the CRSC Team.
Answer facility telephone and assist callers in polite and professional manner.
Create and maintain a resource list for Morris and surrounding counties, in electronic format to be printed in a binder.
Be familiar with CFS programs available to the community.
Create marketing materials in collaboration with agency Public Relations department.
Market the program to referral sources by telephone, email and hard copy.
Enter new consumers into electronic health record system, schedule provider appointments. Scan documents as needed.
Assist with Medicaid claim approval for the program using electronic health record system.
Order program supplies, vendor research may be required.
Manage retail receipts for the CRSC program.
Maintain a filing system, electronic and paper as appropriate.
Open and distribute mail.
Assist the Program Director in collecting information for reporting.
Complete incident reports according to policy in a timely, accurate manner.
Communicate with other staff as necessary to promote quality client care.
Observe and report safety, maintenance problems.
Coordinate house-keeping and maintenance needs.
Coordinate vehicle maintenance needs.
Participate in required staff training and staff meetings as scheduled.
Exercise sound professional judgment and seek assistance as necessary to effectively manage client behavior.
Take responsibility for professional development through attendance at relevant workshops and seminars.
Participate in Center and Program performance improvement activities
Follow all company policies and procedures.
REQUIREMENTS:
HS Diploma or equivalent.
Proficient computer/clerical skills are required.
2 years administrative assistant experience.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
