Program: The Trauma Recovery Center, modeled after the University of California, San Francisco Trauma Recovery Center, provides assertive outreach and multidisciplinary mental health, case management, and supportive services to crime victims who typically experience barriers to accessing traditional services.
Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for a Licensed Psychologist located in Camden, NJ, with the flexibility to work from home. The Licensed Psychologist will be responsible for conducting psychological assessments, providing counseling and mental health services, and developing treatment plans. Daily tasks include diagnosing and treating mental health disorders, offering psychotherapy, and participating in team meetings and case consultation. The role also involves maintaining patient records and ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines and regulations.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Psychology and Psychological Assessment
- Experience in Counseling and providing Mental Health services
- Bilingual in Spanish Preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Valid license to practice as a Psychologist in New Jersey
- Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an accredited institution
- Promote and demonstrate cultural humility in client care and staff interactions that respond respectfully to the strengths and skills of diverse ethnicities and cultures, languages, socio-economic classes, disabilities, religions, genders, sexual orientation, and other diversity-related factors.
