POSITION SUMMARY:
The Program Coordinator is responsible for maintaining an inventory of community resources and updating the real-time database of available treatment services, in partnership with the Data Manager. The Coordinator supervises Peer Specialists, and works closely with them to maintain accurate information about available treatment and services slots to streamline access to services in a crisis response.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Partners with Peer Specialists and Counselors to educate citizens and CCRT stakeholders on available treatment, social service, and recovery support resources.
Coordinates direct assistance to participants in the program.
Complete required documentation within established timeframes per Federal, State, County, and agency regulations, policy and procedure
Partners with Counselors to support citizens with: crisis intervention, substance use disorder treatment access, mental health and psychological assistance, mediation, and welfare checks as needed.
Maintain relationships with system partners and regularly update shared databases with information about available services.
Coordinate with Data Manager to collect statistical reports, program evaluations, staff evaluation, and client evaluations.
Coordinate with Counselor and Peer Specialist to conduct follow up monitoring of clients and provide referral and linkage to additional services as needed
Develop and implement comprehensive crisis response plans.
Conduct regular risk assessments and update plans accordingly.
Coordinate with internal departments and external agencies during crises.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in crisis management.
Communicate effectively with all stakeholders during a crisis.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
Prepare detailed reports on crisis incidents and response efforts.
Lead debriefing sessions post-crisis to identify areas for improvement.
Manage crisis communication channels, including social media and press releases.
Develop and maintain relationships with key external partners.
Coordinate logistics and resources during a crisis.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all employees and clients.
Implement and oversee emergency drills and simulations.
Provide psychological support and resources to affected individuals.
Analyze data and trends to predict potential crises.
Develop contingency plans for various crisis scenarios.
Ensure all crisis response equipment and supplies are maintained and accessible.
Act as the primary point of contact during a crisis situation.
Adhere to Camden Coalition for Inclusive Communities plan.
Adhere to COA policies and procedures of the program.
Adhere to the policies and procedures of CFS.
Other duties as required.
Required to lift up to 50 pounds
Work involves sensitive contact with people who are in crisis and/or may be utilizing
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Human Services and/or Psychology or other related field. (Masters Preferred)
Demonstrated experience working with families/adults in crisis and/or emergency room or EMS response. Must have three or more years' experience working with individuals with behavioral health challenges (substance use, mental health) or co-occurring disorders; and at least two years of lead and / or supervisory experience (or a combination of education and/or training and/or experience which provides an equivalent background required to perform the work of the class)

Experience with trauma informed therapy and practices.
Ability to clearly communicate ideas in both written and verbal form.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, execute sound judgment, and implement crisis intervention techniques when needed
Strong commitment to dignity and respect for all persons
Preferred Prior experience with case management, advocacy, and exposure to social work in the legal system preferred.
Experience with trauma informed therapy and practices.
Ability to clearly communicate ideas in both written and verbal form.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, execute sound judgment, and implement crisis intervention techniques when needed.
Required to operate automotive vehicles
Possess a valid driver's license in the state of his/her residence, insurance, and clean driving record..
