CHEMED is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our specialty team, which includes Endocrinology, Cardiology and other specialty areas. This is a full-time position offering predominantly day hours, with some evening and weekend shifts when specialists are in office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in an outpatient setting, including assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and administering treatments.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Perform and assist with clinical procedures specific to specialty areas.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care.
- Monitor and document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Participate in continuous professional development and maintain current knowledge in specialty areas.
Qualifications:
- Current RN license in the state of New Jersey.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a specialty outpatient setting (Gastroenterology, Endocrinology, Neurology, Cardiology or similar).
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to perform specialized procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends as required.
