Center for Human Development, Inc. is seeking two full-time Behavioral Health Therapists. This unique positions' duties will vary depending on clinical staffing demands at any given time during the term of employment. The Behavioral Health Therapist will primarily focus on QMHP-specific duties i.e. providing direct therapy services and they may also spend dedicated time providing QMHA specific duties such as skills training and case management.

The Requirements:
- Master's degree in a social sciences field required.*
- Two years of relevant mental health experience.
- State licensure preferred but not required.
- Certified as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor or must begin certification process upon hire, or must meet educational requirements that approve engagement in A&D therapy.
- All Master level QMHP’s must be credentialed as a mental health investigator or willing to pursue credentialing.
- Knowledge of practices, principles and philosophy of mental health treatment, including motivational interviewing, assessment, treatment plans and diagnoses, and crisis counseling.
- Knowledge of computer basics.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and pass all criminal history check requirements and drug screenings.
- *If masters degree has not been obtained, to be considered for this position you must be attending school and have at least 30 credits based on quarter completed, or 20 credits based on semester completed
Essential Duties:
- Provide individual, family and group therapy.
- Participate on the Crisis Team rotation for backup of night time and day time crisis workers and holidays.
- Understand agency productivity requirements and comply as appropriate.
- Collaborate with client's primary therapist and case manager.
- Perform Case Management duties as necessary.
