What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Supervisor position at Center for Human Development?
CHD's growing In Home Therapy (IHT) and Therapeutic Mentoring program is seeking a Clinical Supervisor. This is a full time position based in West Springfield, serving children and families in Hampden County. Responsibilities include clinical and administrative supervision of Master's and Bachelor's level staff.
Your role as an In-home Therapy, Clinical Supervisor you will :
- Fully engage families in the treatment alliance with family focused interventions and behavioral techniques. To ensure the coordinated efforts of all treatment components.
- Play an integral role in the clinical and administrative supervision of Master's and Bachelor's level staff.
- Ensure program compliance with documentation and other clinically related licensing requirement.
- Establish and maintain an effective working relationship with other clinicians, state agencies, DCF, schools, foster parents and other referral agencies.
- IHT Services may be provided in any setting where the youth is naturally located, including, but not limited to, the home (including foster homes and therapeutic foster homes), schools, childcare centers, respite settings, and other community settings.
SUCCESS FACTORS
To excel as a Clinical Supervisor with CHD, you will need a diverse skill set to include, strong problem solving skills, risk management / safety planning, strong communication, supervisory experience, a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy required. Independent clinical license (LICSW, LMHC, and LMFT) and experience working with children and families is required, a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle. LICSW and In Home Therapy or equivalent experience is strongly preferred. Bilingual (English / Spanish) candidates are encouraged to apply.
