The Center for Human Development, (CHD) is seeking an Information Technology (IT) Support Technician to join our team. The Information Technology Support Technician should be able to work independently or collaboratively to identify and troubleshoot a wide range of technology-related issues. This position provides ongoing support to computer users in a courteous and professional manner by traveling to various CHD CT programs, as well as to the corporate office in Springfield, MA.
Your role as an Information Technology Support Technician:
The IT Support Technician is responsible for performing timely response to or coordination of all support requests such as:
- Provide end-user support via phone and email
- Installation and maintenance of systems and software
- Issues with email and Internet applications
- Trouble-shooting and repairs of hardware
- User password problems
- Configure, deploy and support workstations, laptops and printers
- Assist users with desktop-related issues and other supported applications
- Become familiar with the agency's tools, workflows and practices in order to better serve the users' needs
REQUIRMENTS:
- Associate degree in technological field, A certification or comparable experience.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required
- Travel to various CHD CT programs, as well as to the corporate office in Springfield, MA
- Ability to pass CORI background check
