What are the responsibilities and job description for the Master's Level - Clinical Intern position at Center for Human Development?
CHD is seeking 2nd year Master level students to join us as Paid Clinical Interns . We are looking for enthusiastic students who are interested in joining our Outpatient Clinics or In Home Therapy teams.
CHD's outpatient clinic consists of : clinicians, administrative assistants, Recovery Coaches, Community Support staff, grant program staff, and supervisors. We provide individual, couple, family, and group therapy on site and through telehealth platforms. We are seeking a detail-oriented clinician who works well as a member of a group.
In Home therapy : Care teams led by a master's level clinician, provide intensive support to children and adolescents with serious emotional and behavioral health needs. Therapists can go to clients home, school, library, or other neighborhood locations.
Requirements
- Second year Master's student.
- Must have an interest in community behavioral health.
- Able to demonstrate high level of skill in therapeutic engagement of diverse clients, hold fidelity to evidence based practices that match the presenting problem, and good diagnostic skills.
- Bilingual candidates are a plus.
