The Center for Human Development, (CHD) is seeking a SOFTWARE DEVELOPER to join our dynamic Application and Data Services (ADS) team. This is a full-time, on-site position, located at our corporate office, located in Springfield, MA.
Your role as a Software Developer:
The Software Developer is responsible for the design, planning, development, support and integration of all elements of custom applications, business intelligence and reporting platforms. In this position, you will ensure that application performance is efficient and effective in support of the organization’s ongoing automation, reporting, and analytics requirements.
Essential functions of this role include, but are not limited to:
Manage and Prioritize Projects, Tasks, and Other Work
Develop solutions by utilizing technologies
Conduct and Document Business and Systems Analysis
Maintain and Expand Skillset
Train and Support Users
Troubleshoot Applications
Configure Applications and User Accounts
REQUIRMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field of study or a relevant combination of education and experience.
Experience in healthcare environments, which include mental health and behavioral health is highly desirable.
Thorough knowledge of technologies such as MS Visual Studio .Net, C#, MS Power BI, MS SQL, MS SSRS, MS SSIS, Power Automate, Cognos, UI Path, various EHR systems, and other tools to create solutions that are performant, scalable, extensible, maintainable, affordable, and secure. These solutions may include, but are not limited to, applications (web, Windows, mobile, console, DLLs, etc.), dashboards, databases, schemas, data warehouses, queries, other database objects, reports, spreadsheets, screens, forms, diagrams, and other outputs necessary to meet business needs
Ability to pass a CORI and driving record background check
SUCCESS FACTORS:
Key elements to the success of this position include: planning and delivering custom applications, new data integration and reporting functionality; collaborating with stakeholders to gather specifications, documenting specifications based upon discrete use cases and developing new features in accordance with those specifications; testing and debugging new functionality based on operational requirements; and, monitoring data flows between applications, databases, servers and/or Cloud services to identify and implement the most suitable
