Job Description:
We seek an experienced professional in community-based residential services to fill the position of Community Living Director.
This is a middle management role responsible for direct supervision of designated group home managers and program coverage as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Promote and implement CHCNJ's philosophy and values.
- Recruit, hire, train, and supervise House Managers in designated programs.
- Coordinate hiring process for direct care staff in designated programs.
- Conduct regular visits to ensure program compliance with CHCNJ, state, and local regulations.
- Ensure quality care in the absence of the House Manager.
- Participate in quality improvement meetings, tasks, and reviews.
- Share after-hours on-call responsibility.
Requirements:
- 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic computer skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- Acceptable driving record.
- COVID vaccination and booster.
Qualifications:
- Minimum two years of supervisory or administrative experience.
- Degree in Human Services or related field.
- Relevant background and knowledge of community-based care.
