The CHCNJ Group Home in Hampton (Newton) NJ is home to four people with developmental disabilities. CHCNJ is seeking one Direct Support Professional to work on Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 PM until 8:00 PM, (a total of 16 hours per week). Duties of this direct care position include providing all needed supports within the home, and developing and supporting true community involvement by encouraging individualized interests, and attending activities such as parks, festivals, concerts, farms, restaurants, shopping and other fun events in the surrounding area.
This position pays $19.50 per hour. Previous DSP experience is not necessary, but a desire to have fun and take part in community activities is a must. All training will be provided for the new DSP after hire.
Minimum requirements for employment at CHCNJ:
- 18 Years of Age
- High School Diploma/GED
- Basic Computer Skills
- Valid Drivers License
- Acceptable Driving Record
