Psychologist

Seeking a Psychologist for Part-Time work in the South Orange County area. This position involves working with children and adults as part of multi-disciplinary psychology practice that specializes in assessment and school consultation. Experience in neuropsychological, psychological or psychoeducational assessment is preferable.

Responsibilities include some or all of the following:

Clinical Work May Involve:

• Psychological and psychoeducational assessment of children, adolescents, and adults
• Scoring and interpreting assessment results and subsequently[SA2] sharing the results with clients, parents, school administrators, and/or teachers[SA3]
• Participating in meetings in which the results of assessments are shared with the individual being assessed or the parents of the individual being assessed
• Report writing
• Psychotherapy

School Work May Involve:

• Participating in and/or facilitating Student Study Team meetings
• Conducting classroom observations
• Interpreting psychoeducational reports
• Developing and implementing behavior plans and learning plans for individual students
• Meeting with administrators and teachers regarding students of concern
• Communicating with and working collaboratively with other team members, including educational therapists, clinical psychologists, speech and language therapists, and occupational therapists

Applicant Qualifications:

• This position is for in-person employment including in clinic and schools
• A doctoral level degree in psychology (i.e. general psychology, clinical psychology, educational psychology, counseling psychology, etc.)
• Candidates may be licensed psychologists or doctoral level candidates working toward licensure
• Supervision of post-doctoral licensure candidates is possible
• Strong organizational and note-taking skills
