Receptionist / Front Desk
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer support and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong organizational skills, computer literacy, and the ability to manage time effectively. Busy Chiropractic office in Walnut Creek is currently seeking a permanent part time front desk receptionist / billing person / accounts receivables / Jack of all trades.
Job requires someone friendly, reliable and detail oriented. Candidate must feel comfortable working directly with patients in person and on the phone. Good communication skills, phone skill, and computer skills a must.
We are looking for a long-term commitment.
You must be available the following hours:
Mondays 7:30am to 12:30pm
Tuesdays 7:30am to 12:30pm
Wednesdays 7:30am to 12:30pm
Thursday 7:30am to 12:30pm
Friday 7:30am to 1:30pm
One Saturday per month
This is a part time position. The position is 26 hours a week.

Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner.
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate personnel.
- Manage appointment scheduling and maintain an organized calendar for the office.
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining records.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including correspondence and document preparation.
- Ensure the front desk area is tidy and presentable at all times.
- Provide support to other staff members as a personal assistant when necessary.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar customer support role is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Proficient in computer literacy, including familiarity with office software (e.g., MS Office Suite).
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clients.
- Experience as a dental or medical receptionist is advantageous but not required.
- A positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
