Coffee County Children’s Advocacy Center is seeking an executive director to direct the day-to-day operations of the CAC. Coffee County Children’s Advocacy Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing services to children who are survivors of severe abuse and their non-offending families through coordinated multidisciplinary team interventions, education / prevention, and advocacy.

Job Responsibilities
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Provides leadership, management, vision, and best practice methods to ensure that the mission and core values of the agency are in practice.
- Responsible for the recruitment, hiring, retaining and supervision of all staff and programs.
- Ensures that the CAC meets all funder and accreditation requirements, which includes but is not limited to maintaining documentation and submitting reports as required.
- Prepares and submits annual draft budget to Board of Directors for approval. This may be done in conjunction with CFO, accountant or other financial support staff.
- Works collaboratively with staff and the Board of Directors to meet agency’s strategic goals and objectives.
- Prepares the agenda for monthly board meetings. Attends all Board meetings and committee meetings. Provides information to the Board of Directors as needed or as requested.
- Identifies funding opportunities that align with the agency mission and prepares funding / grant applications as needed.
- Maintains positive relationships with various stakeholders, including members of the CAC’s multidisciplinary team.
- Attends and facilitates monthly multidisciplinary meetings. Provides oversight of multidisciplinary team meetings and relationships, case management, community outreach, and varied committees.
- Evaluates program effectiveness and establishes a plan for improvement if needed.
- Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal mandates and standards as required.
- Assists in continuous quality improvement of protocols, policies and procedures both internally and externally with the multidisciplinary team.
- Serves as the main media spokesperson and represents Coffee County Children’s Advocacy Center in the community through varied committee and public relation engagements to increase awareness of the CAC’s programs and the issue of child abuse in Coffee County.
- Coordinates professional training for MDT, CAC staff and volunteers as needed.
- Provides support, information and referral, advocacy and other direct service activities to child abuse victims and their non-offending family members as needed.
- Maintains accreditation standards set by the National Children’s Alliance and completed accreditation application on behalf of the CAC every five years.
- Attends required annual specialized training and Children’s Advocacy Centers of Tennessee membership meetings.
- Responsible for coordinating CAC’s fundraising activities with the Board of Directors.
- Responsible for advocacy activities with local and state elected officials.
- Maintains agency records as required by policy and law.
- Works with agency partners and the Board of Directors to develop and implement a strategic plan.
