We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Scheduling Coordinator to join our team at the Center for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, collecting patient financial responsibility, and preparing patient charts.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of dental terminology, excellent organizational skills, and a friendly, inviting personality. They will also possess excellent communication skills, basic office skills, and a good understanding of HIPAA regulations.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care and meet the needs of our patients.
- Schedule appointments to optimize patient satisfaction, provider time, and effective use of exam and treatment rooms.
- Prepare daily schedules for each provider and maintain reception areas in a neat and orderly condition.
- Maintain professional relationships with referring offices and ensure confidentiality of all information in accordance with HIPAA.
