As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Center for Physical Therapy and Exercise, you will assist physical therapists in providing quality, evidence-based, and individualized programs of physical therapy that include assessment, treatment, planning, implementation, education, and communication to help patients achieve optimal recovery and well-being. Your caseload will be primarily orthopedic with a variety of sports medicine and musculoskeletal diagnoses as well as vestibular and other conditions.

As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Center for Physical Therapy and Exercise, you will assist physical therapists in providing quality, evidence-based, and individualized programs of physical therapy that include assessment, treatment, planning, implementation, education, and communication to help patients achieve optimal recovery and well-being. Your caseload will be primarily orthopedic with a variety of sports medicine and musculoskeletal diagnoses as well as vestibular and other conditions.
What you'll do:
- Assist physical therapists in providing direct patient care, according to the therapist's treatment plan.
- Assist patients, as necessary with walking, transferring, and dressing.
- Conduct therapy practice within defined standards of care
- Create fitness and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients' specific needs; Promote patients' healthy lifestyles by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
- Communicate effectively with other professionals and support staff to achieve positive patient outcomes.
- Document patient care services via EMR.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, objectives, quality improvement program, safety, environmental, and infection control standards as required.
- Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant license.
- Passion for delivering quality, evidence-based patient care.
- Superior customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to manage and interact positively with a diverse patient population of all ages.
- Drive to continually learn and grow.
