This person will be responsible for providing excellent patient service, managing medical records, scheduling appointments, and assisting with various administrative tasks. Duties:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
- Schedule patient appointments
- Verify insurance information and collect necessary co-pays or payments
- Maintain patient records and update information as needed
- Assist with medical billing and coding processes
- Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as necessary
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist
- Familiarity with medical terminology and office procedures
- Proficient in using practice management software
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
