Center for Resource Solutions (CRS) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that advocates for market-based policy solutions to advance sustainable energy in the U.S. and internationally. CRS engages stakeholders across the sustainable energy landscape through its education, technical assistance, and policy-focused programs and outreach. CRS also administers the market-leading Green-e programs, which offer independent environmental and consumer protection standards and certification for buyers and producers of renewable energy.
The Program Manager will join CRS’s policy and market development team to lead the Clean Energy Accounting Project (CEAP). CEAP supports the policy and market development team’s objective to advance sustainable energy and reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by collaborating with NGOs, policymakers, and corporate leaders to develop clean energy and GHG emissions accounting guidance addressing outstanding questions in voluntary and regulatory energy markets.
Location :
This position requires in-person presence in CRS’s San Francisco based office. Currently, CRS maintains a hybrid work schedule, but that could change based on the needs of the organization and other factors.
Qualifications and Preferred Skills :
- Master’s degree in related field and 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience convening and managing diverse stakeholder working groups.
- Relevant subject matter experience including wholesale and retail renewable energy markets, renewable energy certificates (RECs), tracking systems, renewable and clean energy regulations, impactful clean energy procurement strategies, GHG accounting best practices, and carbon impact claims.
- Flexible self-starter; able to multitask and prioritize across multiple projects; must be able to work independently.
- Significant experience with project management, member recruitment, and member retention.
- Clear and proactive communicator, strong writing skills, comfortable speaking publicly and utilizing diverse media formats and partnerships to share and promote CEAP and its thought leadership.
- Experience using Salesforce, Zoom, and the Microsoft Suite.

Compensation :
The Program Manager will be a full-time exempt position with a target salary range for this position is $80,000-$90,000.
