Position Summary:
Responsible for answering the phone, greeting callers, establishing reason for calling, and resolving issues by contacting an appropriate person/department that can help the customer.
Qualifications/Skills:
· High School diploma/GED
· Two years’ previous experience with multi-line phones and customer service required
· Bi-lingual preferred
· Experience with customer service and multi-line phones
· Good diction and articulation and pleasant phone voice
· Demonstrate active listening skills
· Basic computer skills, basic typing and keyboarding skills
· Maintain a calm and positive attitude and maintain a professional demeanor in stressful situations. Have the ability to respond to changing workload and work environment.
· Convey both tact and diplomacy in patient and co-worker relations.
· Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
· Must maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with clinic policy and HIPPA guidelines.
· Demonstrate good teamwork, ability to be positive, enthusiastic and helpful
· Professional Demeanor and appearance
· Strong patient care oriented with a friendly and positive attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Must be detailed oriented

Responsibilities/Duties:
· Courteously and efficiently answer all incoming calls and connect callers with the correct extension.
· Provide pleasant and helpful phone contact for callers.
· Provide information regarding inquiries in a professional manner.
· Follow written protocols and procedures of the Clinic.
· Perform other duties of the medical practice that may be assigned.

· Must be willing to travel to all our clinic locations
· Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule – Monday through Friday
- Must maintain a current and valid driver’s license
· Some overtime may be required
Work Environment:
Work is performed in an office environment where the noise level can be moderate to loud and involves a high level of contact with patients and the public via the telephone.
Essential Physical Functions:
· Sitting for long periods of time
· Stooping and bending/stretching for supplies.
· Requires occasional lifting of files or paper weighing up to 25 pounds.
· Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, calculator, telephone and other office equipment.
· Hearing must be in normal range for telephone contacts.
