Grant Funding and Community Engagement Specialist - Lyons, NE

The Center for Rural Affairs is seeking a highly motivated Grant Funding and Community Engagement Specialist to join our team in Lyons, Nebraska. In this role, you will be responsible for researching, developing, and managing grant applications to support impactful community initiatives.

You will work closely with our program staff to align grant applications with our organizational goals and funder requirements. This will involve conducting grant research, writing compelling proposals, and supporting reporting processes to secure funding.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience with grant writing and management, including research, development, and submission.
  • Collaboration with diverse teams to align grant applications with program goals and funder requirements.
  • Tracking and managing grant data using Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
  • Developing and monitoring grant budgets to ensure compliance with funding guidelines.
  • Managing deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring timely submission of grant applications and reports.
  • Staying up to date with grant funding policies, regulations, and industry best practices.
