Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Ophthalmic Technician to join our great team! The ideal candidate will have a happy disposition as well as a passion for eye care and assisting elderly patients in clinical settings.
Duties
- Conduct preliminary patient screenings
- Assist ophthalmologists with patient care
- Perform diagnostic tests such as visual acuity
- Maintain accurate medical records and update patient information
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize equipment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
Qualifications
- Warm, friendly, and happy personality
- Experience working in a medical clinic or ophthalmic setting is preferred
- Knowledge of Electronic Health Records systems
- Strong communication skills for interacting with patients and colleagues
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
