We are committed to providing exceptional eye care and are seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and bilingual optician to join our team.
Position Overview: As a key member of our optical team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the patient experience through excellent service and expertise. You will be responsible for various aspects of the optical department, including vision plan authorization and billing, frame selection, lens options, and frame adjustments/dispensing.
What You'll Do:
- Conduct vision plan authorizations and billing processes.
- Assist patients in selecting the perfect frames and lens options to meet their needs.
- Provide expert adjustments and dispensing of eyewear to ensure optimal fit and comfort.
- Maintain a welcoming and informative environment for patients.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline operations and enhance service delivery.
- Stay current on optical trends and technologies to provide informed recommendations.
- Adjust and repair eyewear as necessary
- Provide patients with guidance on proper eyewear care and usage
- Process lens and frame orders
What We're Looking For:
- Optical experience is required.
- Bilingual in Spanish for effective communication with our diverse patient base.
- Familiarity with EPIC or similar electronic health record systems.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Self-motivated and a progressive thinker.
