Overview:
Join a dynamic and fast-paced ophthalmology practice serving patients across 4 locations in San Joaquin and Stanislaus County. We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and reliable Ophthalmic Technician to support our providers and help deliver exceptional patient care.
**This position requires travel between locations when needed**
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist ophthalmologists in patient examinations and procedures.
- Perform a variety of diagnostic tests, including visual fields, auto-refraction, OCT, visual acuity testing, and more.
- Accurately record patient information and test results in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system (Epic).
- Provide patient education and ensure comfort during procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in ophthalmology or related field.
- Experience with Epic EHR is required.
- Proficiency in Spanish (written and spoken) is required.
- Must be willing to travel between multiple practice locations.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and work independently.
- Must be a team player.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
