What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant position at Center for Spine, Joint, Neuromusuclar Rehabilitation?
The Center for Spine, Joint, and Neuromuscular Rehabilitation is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join the team of one of the most respected Interventional Pain Clinics in the Nashville area. This provider will function in an outpatient clinic setting, managing the care of chronic pain patients under the direction of their supervising physician. The NP or PA should be highly motivated with the ability to demonstrate an advanced level of medical knowledge, clinical/technical competence, sound clinical judgment, professional communication skills, timely and compliant documentation.
The Center for Spine, Joint, and Neuromuscular Rehabilitation was founded in 2002. We believe in a multi-disciplinary approach to caring for our chronic pain patients including use of physical therapy, durable medical equipment, interventions and behavioral health. Our goal is to get our patients to their maximum functionality under our care to improve their quality of life. Our medical doctor is board certified in Pain Management and maintains the highest standards in treating patients as well as in educating their staff.
The preferred candidate:
• Must be able to work in both Mount Juliet and Murfreesboro clinics
• Should have knowledge or be willing to learn about interventional procedures with or without ultrasound guidance to help manage patients pain
• Must have a valid TN license and DEA number
• Outstanding communication skills with staff and patients including the ability to educate patients about testing, medication, durable medical equipment, physical therapy, behavioral health and interventional procedures
• Dedication to continually learn and grow with the clinic
• Knowledge of EMR (Centricity Practice Solutions knowledge is a plus)
• Have a good attitude and be a good team player
