For 80 years, we have been one of upstate New York's largest providers of programs and services for individuals who have disabilities. Many of the innovative programs and vital services that we offer are not available elsewhere.
We are searching for Senior Day Program Counselors to join our agency.
Senior Day Program Counselors will provide full support to individuals including; dining, lifting, direct personal care, development and implementation of activities, supervision / oversight of individuals to ensure that they are carrying out their goals.
Responsibilities :
- Responsible for accurately documenting and providing services to the individuals they support
- Promote independence and community inclusion
- Responsible for the implementation of the day program plans, opportunities for self-determination, independent activity, increased productivity and greater community inclusion
- May function as a Team Leader for each individual assigned
- May be responsible for the direction of all staff assigned to that program area
Requirements :
The compensation range for this position is $17.95 - $19.02 . Rate of pay is commensurate on experience.
