We are currently seeking a Clinical Dental or Orthodontic Assistant to join our amazing team at the Center for TMJ and Sleep Disorders in Reading, PA. Our established practice is focused on dental treatments for TMJ dysfunction, snoring and sleep apnea. You will be responsible for providing chairside assistance including patient care, assisting the doctor, sterilization, hands on work with oral appliances, operatory prep, etc. In addition, you will be taking digital impressions, Dental Cone beam scans, photographs, dispensing sleep studies and providing patient education. We recognize TMJ and sleep disorders are not commonly taught to dental or orthodontic assistants and we will train the right person on all aspects of education and equipment use.
The ideal candidate will have dental assisting experience and a PA X-ray certification. We are seeking a candidate that is detailed oriented with excellent communication skills and a positive team player attitude. Knowledge of Dentrix practice management software is helpful, but not mandatory.
Full time or Part time hours available. Salary is based on experience with the opportunity for advancement. Benefits include a simple IRA retirement plan, holiday and vacation pay, and a production bonus system.
